The Gehring’s are happy to share with everyone that Emma has had yet another stable scan. We can’t thank God enough for giving us this time of stability and relief. Looking on Facebook and seeing Nick Herringer going through his battle humbles us, we know good news is a gift and not a right. Nick, if you see this keep up that fight and I expect you to be ready to give me a hard time next time I see you.
Please know that every text, email, phone call and most importantly prayer is appreciated. Emma’s prayer warriors give us the strength to get through this and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You wouldn’t believe it but we find someone almost everywhere we go that either knows Emma’s story or shares their own story about childhood cancer. On this trip alone we got to meet someone from Kansas City that follows Emma’s story and rode in cab with a driver whose grandson has a brain tumor. Each one of these stories shows us exactly how close God is to us at every given moment.
Emma has an appointment with her endocrinologist tomorrow but hopefully that doesn’t give us any earth shattering news. Thanks again for following Emma’s story. As Emma said “We got good news!!”
